Just Lindsay…

To say Lindsay George has a voice you won’t forget is an understatement. Lindsay George’s voice is hauntingly memorable – she has a sound that is at once sweet and mature. Lindsay’s latest project, “Who Would I Have to Be,” produced by Jamie Slocum, showcases her versatility as an artist and a writer. Songs like the upbeat and cheerful “Play Me a Love Song” (co-penned by Lindsay and Denny Jiosa), the energetic and aggressive cover of the Rick Springfield classic “Don’t Talk to Strangers” (with a cameo by Rick, himself), and the introspective original “Who Would I Have to Be” showcase all sides of Lindsay.

“I started as a jazz singer,” says Lindsay. “I learned how to sing by singing jazz. But, this latest pop project is truly a statement of me, by me.” Bringing together Lindsay’s jazz roots and indie pop influences and combining them with Jamie’s experience and expertise as a producer, “Who Would I Have to Be” is a pop record with substance, truth and excitement. One that is bound to stay in your stereo for years to come.
